Seasonal restlessness

Seasonal restlessness is a term used to describe the behavior patterns of migratory animals around the time of their annual/seasonal migrations. If you capture a migratory bird and watch their behavior, they become increasingly restless and agitated, and move around quite a bit, before and during their migrational period.

I seem to get a similar urge in the Spring and Autumn, although, at the same time, I am tired of moving.

I have moved almost every year for the past 13 years or so.  I am very, very tired of it.  Once again, we will have to move this Spring, as the people from whom we rent a townhouse are moving back to the area, and this place is their home.  So I cannot sleep - my brain is whirring from thinking of our rental options.  We have three, and none are ideal.

I suppose we'll figure it out in one way or another.  But it does leave me awake after four hours of sleep, unable to drift off again.

Oh, I hate moving, too! We moved a lot when I was a kid; then when I was with the first husband, we always moved once or twice a year. (I got to where I could pack an entire houseful in 3 days...)
Good luck with your move - may the perfect place drop out of the sky for you.

Thanks Gayle! I think we may have found something that works.

I'm still dreaming of moving more rural and getting a mini-farm, though. That's my long-term goal.
