So we have this cafeteria at work. And it's a great idea - people don't have to drive somewhere to eat (if they didn't bring lunch with them and cram it into a minifridge), it saves time, and the company keeps the cost of food low, so you can get a filling lunch for about $5-6.
Today I spied a burrito option. I tend to love burritos. However, I was probably remembering my last burrito at Chipotle, and thinking that maybe this would be the same.
Oh no.
The chicken was so bad I threw most of it out (there wasn't very much), so I ate a very bland yellow rice (I'd say saffron rice, but there is negative flavor in the yellow rice here)/black bean (I had to ask for more, they are very stingy on their beans - what gives?)/lettuce burrito with a few specks of tomato, and some sour cream for added flavor.
Sigh.
Once again, I learn that it's best to pack my lunch and know what I'm going to get. Food disappointment at lunch is not what I need to stay...well, not perky, but upbeat at work.
